How do I reassess charges?

After an agreement with the tenant or a judge's decision, you can reassess the charges (fixed fee or provisions) directly from the contract, for example to adjust the amount or correct an input error.

Steps

  1. In the left-hand menu, click "Contracts".

  2. Open the relevant contract ("Contract information" tab).

  3. Scroll to the "Financial information" section.

  4. Click "Reassess fixed fees" (next to "Fixed fee") or "Reassess provisions" (next to "Provision"). The "Charges reassessment" window opens.

  5. Under "Reason of the reassessment", choose "Agreement with the tenant" or "Judge's decision".

  6. Enter the new amount: adjust the displayed fixed fee and/or provision, or use "Add a provision".

  7. Fill in the date under "Effective starting on".

  8. Leave "Notify tenant" on to inform the tenant, or turn it off.

  9. Click "Next".

The reassessment is saved in the contract's history.

Good to know: the new amount becomes the reference used for future indexations.
