When you have invoices for a property or building, you can add them to the application. You can do this by clicking on the building or asset in question and then, in the ‘Expenses’ section, you will find “Invoices” and ‘Add an invoice’.
A window will appear, where you can add the invoice and fill in all the necessary information.
When everything is complete, click ‘Next’.
You will then have three options.
Assign the invoice to the owner:
The amount is recorded and added to the invoices for the building or property concerned.
2. Assign the invoice to the tenant:
Request payment now: when you select this option, you must indicate the date on which you expect the amount to be paid and the contract to which this invoice is to be assigned. Then click on ‘Save’. On the next screen, you will have the option of notifying the tenant of the request for immediate payment by clicking on ‘Notify tenant’.
Add to annual statement: when you choose to add invoices to the annual statement, select this option and click ‘Save’. Smovin will display the amount in your management under the ‘Invoices’ tab. Smovin will use this data later to generate the annual statement.
3.Allocate the bill to the owner and the tenant:
You can choose to allocate the bill between the tenant and the owner according to the proposed allocation key, or you can enter an amount yourself.
For the amount you allocate to the tenant, you again have the choice of requesting immediate payment or adding the amount to the annual bill.
