What is a “payment to assign”?
When you’ve synced your bank account with our application, it recognizes incoming payments into your account and lists them under “Payments to Assign.”
From this list, you must assign each payment to the correct contract the first time.
After that initial assignment, the application will remember your choice and automatically assign any similar future payments to the corresponding lease contract.
However, in some cases (for example, if the payer’s name doesn’t match the tenant’s name), you will need to assign the payment manually at least once.

How do you assign a payment?
Find all payments to assign on your dashboard under Tasks to Complete → Payments to Assign.
By clicking on “Payments to Assign,” you’ll see an overview of all payments awaiting assignment.
To assign a payment, hover over the payment you wish to assign and click on "Assign."
Now, select the contract to which the payment relates, then click on "Assign" to confirm.
Once done, if the payment is not related to your property management, click on the three small dots on the right, then click "Ignore" or "Ignore and blacklist" (in this case, all similar incoming payments on your account in the future will be automatically ignored).
To ignore multiple payments at once, simply select them by checking the boxes, then click "Ignore" at the top left.
