The rent indexation can be customized (meaning it is possible to modify the default values used by the application to calculate the amount and timing of the next indexation).

When entering a new contract or editing an existing one, click on "Modify" under the "Custom Indexation" title in the "Rent" section.

You will then be able to modify 6 indexation attributes:

  1. The base of the indices used: The 2013 base is used by default, but you can choose the 1996 or 2003 base instead.

  2. The month used for the base index: By default, we use the month preceding the contract signing date.

  3. The month used for the current index: By default, we use the month preceding the anniversary of the contract start date.

  4. The date of the next indexation: By default, the indexation will be possible on the anniversary date of the contract signing.

  5. The base rent (monthly) on which the indexation is calculated: By default, the initial rent of the contract will be taken into account.

  6. The frequency of indexation: By default, this will be annual.

  7. Difine a maximal indexation

The information you have provided here will be taken into account for the automatic calculation of your future indexations.

You can modify this information at any time by clicking on "Actions" and then "Modify".

By clicking on the "Rent" section, you can add, modify, or delete special indexation rules.
