Have you or your tenant terminated the lease? Enter this in Smovin.
Terminating a contract tells the app to stop tracking this contract beyond the chosen end date. ⚠️ Any rent and charge calls after this date will be deleted where applicable.
Steps
From your dashboard, click the Contracts tab, then the relevant contract.
On the contract page (Contract information tab), scroll down to the Key dates section. 📌 There may be two end dates: the initial end date (period originally agreed) and the current end date (after a renewal or an early termination).
Next to the Current end date, click Terminate the contract.
In the window that opens, enter the contract end date. 📌 The end date cannot be earlier than the contract's start date.
By default, a termination communication is sent to the tenant. If you don't want this, turn on the toggle "I do not wish to send a communication about the termination to the tenant".
Click Terminate the contract to confirm.
