A lease contract can be made up of several units (for example, an office and 2 parking spaces, a flat and a garage, etc.). This feature allows you to combine several units and manage them as a single contract.
1. If you want to add a property to an existing contract
Go to the contract page. In the ‘General information’ section you will find the unit(s) rented by the tenant.
Click on the "..." and select "Add a "unit".
A property addition form opens.
Please then select the unit you wish to add and enter the relevant information for the addition: the signing and start dates, the rent, and the fixed charges/advance payments (optional).
💡 The end date is always the same as that of the initial contract and therefore cannot be modified.
2. If you wish to remove a property from an existing grouped lease
Go to the contract page. In the General Information section, you will find the unit(s) rented by the tenant.
Click on the "..." and select "Remove a unit."
Select the property you wish to either dissociate or remove from the grouped lease:
Dissociating a unit means separating the contract associated with that unit from the grouped lease. Two separate contracts will remain.
Delete a unit means taking the unit out of the grouped lease entirely. There will no longer be an active contract for the removed property.
Then click Confirm.
