How do I organise my documents?

In Smovin, a document is always filed on the entity it relates to. You can attach a document to four types of entities: a building, a unit, a contract or a person (tenant, owner, guarantor, service provider).

Documents are filed separately on each entity, so you can find them easily throughout your use of the application.

  • Building or unit documents: they stay accessible regardless of successive contracts and tenants. For example, you can file a deed of purchase, an EPC certificate or an electrical inspection report.

  • Contract documents: they are filed contract by contract, making it easy to find the right lease, the right inventory of fixtures, etc.

  • Person documents: they are individual, such as a copy of an ID card or a payslip.
