To start with, you need to add your properties to the application. The application distinguishes between a unit and a building.
Units are entities that are put up for rent. They can be a house or a flat, but also, for example, a room in a shared flat or a kot.
Buildings can be used to group several properties together. You can specify one or more allocation keys for a building. Please note that it is not possible to link a building to a rental contract.
In practice, you want to add a house with three flats located in Rue de la Paix in Brussels to the application.
You create a first unit, Paix 0, which is the flat on the ground floor of the house.
You create a building, Rue de la Paix, to which you add the unit Paix 0. You can create the building directly when you add a unit, or you can add it later.
Create the other two units, Paix 1 and Paix 2, and add them to the Rue de la Paix building.
