How to automate the indexation of your contracts?

With automatic indexation, as soon as a new index is published, Smovin computes the new indexed rent and automatically sends the notification to the tenant.

Steps

  1. In the left-hand menu (at the bottom), click Settings.

  2. In the settings panel, click Automations.

  3. On the Indexation block, click Configure the automation.

  4. Turn on the Automate the sending of indexations for all contracts toggle.

  5. If you wish, turn on Round down the indexed rent amount (e.g. €711.66 rounded to €711).

  6. To exclude a contract from this rule, in Exceptions click Add an exception, select the Contract, then set Automatic indexation to no.

  7. Click Confirm.

💡 To automate only a few contracts: leave the main toggle off, then add those contracts as exceptions with Automatic indexation set to yes.

⛔️ Indexation does not happen if the new indexed amount is lower than the current amount. You are alerted by email in that case (and if sending the communication fails).
